|Welcome to Hudson, Illinois!
Hudson is a small town in Central Illinois. We
are located in the northwest corner of McLean
County about 10 miles North of
Bloomington-Normal. We have a population of
about 1,800 residents. Hudson Elementary School
is part of McLean County Unit 5 and has K-5,
serving children from Hudson and north Normal.
Students from Hudson then attend Kingsley
Junior High and then on to Normal Community
West High School.
Hudson has become a "bedroom community" for
Bloomington-Normal but has maintained a rural
small-town feel. Most of our residents work in the
"Twin Cities" in Law Enforcement or for State
Farm, Country Insurance, Mitsubishi or one of the
many schools in the area.

|JUST A REMINDER
If a holiday falls on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday; garbage
collection will be done on Thursday.
Recycling for those North of Franklin will be done every other
Wednesday start 12/18/13.
Recycling for those South of Franklin will be done every other
Wednesday starting (Thursday) 2/26/13

|Garbage Collection Changes
As of Tuesday, November 5th the
garbage collection and recycling
contract has been awarded to Allied
A letter, sent to residents, contains
details on the changes. That letter can
be found HERE. Please have patience
during the transition. Thank you.
|The Village of Hudson is looking for a part-time Water
Billing Clerk. Applicants must be friendly, well-organized, able to
multi-task, be a team player, wpm of 40+, be comfortable learning
new software, and have experience in Microsoft Word and
customer service. Submit application and resume’ to Village of
